Installation is also an important step. Because this work is good or bad, it will affect the reliability of the battery system operation. Most users are not aware of the importance of battery installation work. Battery installation work should be done by trained personnel or manufacturers. Many battery damage is caused by the lack of experience of the installer.

The following are some of the damage that often occurs during the installation process:

Leakage of the pole seal: The reason may be that the pole is pulled when the battery is being transported, or the arrangement of the cells connected between the batteries is not neat. Since the battery is pulled into the mounting position, the inter-cell connector is tightened so that the front of the connector and the seal between the post and the seal are squeezed, and leakage of the post seal inevitably causes corrosion of the inter-cell connector.

Damage to the enclosure: This is due to the use of unapproved chemical materials. Some people use oil-based grease for the convenience of battery installation. After the installation is completed, the battery is cleaned with an unknown compound, and since many compounds erode the shell material, the battery casing is broken and the electrolyte is leaked.
