Motorcycle Starting Battery is mainly used for motorcycle starting, lighting and ignition. According to the different sales objects, the market can be divided into supporting market and maintenance market. Among them, the supporting market is for new cars, and the maintenance market refers to the replacement of battery consumption in the process of use. Since a motorcycle requires a starting battery every time it is started, and because the battery has a limited life and needs to be replaced regularly, the starting battery of a motorcycle can be said to be a daily consumable for motorcycle use and needs to be replaced every two to three years on average.
Motorcycle Battery is generally 12V, such as 12V5AH, 12V7AH, 12V9AH and so on. Motorcycle battery maintenance methods can refer to the following:
1) battery liquid level check and supplement, motorcycle battery liquid level must be between the upper and lower limits, must not be lower than the lower limit, below the lower limit to timely supplement. When supplementing, do not inject dilute sulfuric acid; otherwise, the battery will be damaged due to high concentration of electrolyte. Can not add tap water, river water, etc. Because it contains calcium, magnesium plasma and impurities.
2) Check the status of the battery before charging, check whether the voltage of the motorcycle battery is lower than the standard value, and if possible, check whether the proportion of the electrolyte is lower than 1.28(20℃). To observe the battery inside, if there is one or several battery units corrosion, plate white, or the bottom of the material accumulation, or plate warping, the battery should be replaced. If the battery terminals are dirty and have been corroded or oxidized, use wire brush to clean them. If the cleaning is not enough, can drop a little electrolyte corrosion surface and wipe with water.
3) Battery charging, motorcycle battery maintenance is an important link, directly affects the life of the battery. When charging, the current cannot be too large, it is recommended not to use fast charging. When charging, unsealed battery should open the plug, and in a well-ventilated place away from the fire, to prevent hydrogen generated by charging accidents.
4) Test the battery after charging. After charging the battery, check it after standing for 30 minutes. Otherwise, the status of the battery cannot be accurately reflected. The 12-volt battery should be 12.8 volts or higher. If it falls below 12.7 volts, it needs to be recharged. If the battery is below 12 volts, it indicates that the battery is damaged and should be replaced.
